Saran target is traditional target of the mongolian people. The target is consisted of 4 rings and 1 circular piece made of leather and felt. 
 
Archers are supposed to shoot the target with blunt arrows from about 30 meters distance. The score is determined by which rings are knocked off.  The arrows need to fly straight upon impact to only knok off the rings it hits. 
 
The highest score is given to shots that hits and only knocks off the central circular piece.
